Its a no brainer that the .280 can be reloaded to 270 pressure levels quit safely. Its beyond me why the dont have the same pressure limits in the first place. One other thing to consider. Does 100fps really matter? I dont think so. If it does by a 7mm ultra and be done with it. I have shoot plenty of stuff with 140gr corelokts that dropped like a stone and I know the Rem factory loads are on the weak side.
