I don't think you will be able to use the Ti stock. I had a Ti that I used for a build. You will most definitely be full length bedding is you use that stock. When I talked to the guys at McMillan about my build they said only the Classic, Remington Hunter, or HTG would work with a float in a sporter configuration. A Manners SL will take up to a Bartlein #4. All of those stocks will take more barrel than a Ti. The only B&C I think you can use in a Sporter is the Carbelite which can be made into a decent stock with good fitting and bedding.
I like McMillan or Manners because they can be had in a single shot inlet.
