If I was looking for a Rossi 92, I'd call Steve Young. He's THE '92 smith and offers '92's already slicked up. Some of those guns are pretty rough out of the box and Steve knows how to make them sing.

If you're into cowboy action shooting, there are better choices. If you're looking for a strong, rugged hunting rifle, the '92 is hard to beat. They can be COAL sensitive, so the ammo can make a difference. Fast shooting like in CAS, they tend to stove pipe unless they've been timed and slicked up by an expert. There're not the easiest guns to work on.
