I've put the accubonds through the paces in the 7mm, both the 140's and the 160's.

Heres some performance pictures on a 5 point bull I killed several years ago with a 160 AB, shot was maybe 30 yards. MV is around 2970 from 7RM...

Entrance side:

Exit, through the shoulder blade:

I've had similar results on 14 or so elk at ranges as far as 620 with the 160 AB's.

Exit side on a cow I killed at about 230 yards or so:

Entrance side on a bull my wife killed a couple years ago with a 140 AB from a 7-08. MV 2910.

Shot these 2 elk in about 60 seconds with a 7-08 and 140 AB's...150 and 170 yards. Cow was perfectly broadside, bullet exited about 50 cent piece sized. Bull was quartering away, same exit size but penetrated another foot or so:

My brother shot this bull with my 7-08 and 140 AB at 487 yards, quartering slightly away. Recovered the bullet just under the off-side shoulder...perfect expansion. (you can see a small amount of blood at the entrance)

Bull I shot on a hard quartering toward shot with a 140 AB from a 7-08, busted the on shoulder. Bullet never exited but went through the lungs and liver. I assume the bullet was somewhere in the abdominal cavity.

They work just as well on all smaller animals...desert sheep, mule deer, whitetail, pronghorn, etc.

I've run the AB's through the ringer...they're a good bullet IMO/E.
