Never heard of that one before. The pocket rockets have there little quirks but reliability of the valves is not one of them. KOVEA of S. Korea makes them for MSR .They are will made little units, but sometimes contaminants/particles can get in the needle valve preventing full closure.

Obviously the best route would be to contact MSR. They are really good about customer service / QC and I am sure they would like to know about this issue.
