MontanaMan Campfire Ranger Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 23,660 Likes: 1	I have the S&W..........great pistol, handles very well, very reliable & I am more than happy with it. It's my everyday carry gun. I also have a Dan Wesson Guardian which is very similar & it's my 1st alternate carry gun & costs a bit more than the S&W, but I really see no performance difference, just the cosmetic differences. I'm not a big fan of Sig 1911's, tho I've no reason to believe they are not fine guns as well, just personal preference..........I'm sure you can buy the Sig for less $$$ than the S&W, if that matters to you. MM
