I have a 1700 KFC winch loosely mounted on now, I picked it up along with their mounting plate.
After following their directions, the winch is upside down, which is ok...but the clutch release is really too close to the frame to work it easily. I think that I will turn it around tomorrow to give more room for the free spool lever. The only problem is, then the wench will spool from the top ie it will spool from the furthest distance from the mount. I'm figuring it won't matter much.
I'll go to tractor supply later this week and get a hitch and see if I can weld something up for the front too.
