Here's a good marinade:

1 c olive oil
1/3 c lemon juice
1/3 c soy sauce
1tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp black pepper


Marinate steaks overnight.


PS, my favorite cuts for cooking in a crock pot overnight are shanks.
