Gerald Ford may have been, all things considered, one of the best presidents.
It sure was fun watching him board or get off Air Force One. About once a month there was a clip of Ford, on the news, showing him take a tumble. Chevy Chase made a career out of imitating his spills.
Remember the time he was in Poland, meeting Polish dignitaries, and the State Dept. gave him a translator that was less than fluent in the Polish language, and they were looking at Ford like WTF are you saying? One of my memories of him.
