Back before leaving my firm, I spent 27 years as a Certified Public Accountant. Just about all my time was in "Family Wealth Transfer Planning" (estate and trust planning). I spent all that time watching spoiled "children" - I use quotes since most of them are waaaaay into adulthood - just waiting for Mom and Dad to kick so they could come into "their" inheritance. And frankly, most of them couldn't wait.
