Dude, I agree w/the 55's. I have no experience w/the 22-250 but have had a Swift continuously since 1973, It simply electrocutes most anything that gets shot with it and I don't see why the 250 would be much different. I use a book max load of H-414 and 55 BT's for Coyotes as they have much better penetration than V-max however accuracy is equal. If I were shooting in any area where over penetration/ricochets would be a problem I would use a 50 gr V max full blast. I bought a Ruger mk2 .204 w a short barrel for a truck coyote gun, it shot great was as flat as the Swift but did not have the horsepower and fed like s... I'm sure it was the straight case, abrupt shoulder, short seating of the very pointed bullet and small interior of the receiver. I was always jamming them into the top left of the inside of the receiver in the heat of battle, Sold it. The 22-250 should feed well under any circumstances with that tapered case, the long sloping Swift in my old Ruger 77V sure does! -Muddy
