I determined that part of my problem with test loads was due to a bad scope. When I tried to make a slight windage adjustment the point of impact first didn't move and then moved 1 1/2" down and right. I usually don't put an untested/unknown scope on a rifle that I'm working loads for and this is the reason. I bought the Redfield used from a friend that, come to find out got it off a trade and had never used it. So I pulled it off today and mailed it back to Beaverton.
