Have owned many jeeps over the years, bought my first jeep in 1951,flat head four cyl. last one 1993 sold with 300,00 miles bought a 2005 about 3 months ago wrangler unlimited six, couldn't live with out a jeep, all ranch driving no hi way use,4.0 is the way to go, manual tran. works for me. rio7
