the .270 is either i think loved, or hated, but does attract a lot of grief for the caliber.
I finally had a chance to take a couple out today, fire restrictions removed, and see if the scopes were still on.
I was using a browning B.A.R. in 270 for the above, reloads with 130gr hornady jsp's in did in 2003.
I haven't shot this rifle in quite a few years.
It seems as if it does not have any problems.
Interresting to me, at least, is the idea that a 270 isn't to sensitive to weight differences in the bullets.
This rifle does have the B.O.S.S. system on it, and i had it set for 150 grains.
I don't think i need to adjust it.
If it just has enough to penetrate a squirrel.
