Thanks for the comments Bob. I agree with your philosophy, but that can also be said about many other cartridges, including the 270 win, 30-06, 338, 9.3x62mm, 300 mag etc. etc.. I'm definite;y keeping this rifle, as shortening the barrel made a substantial difference for the better. I put a better scope on it and look forward to shooting it this weekend..
