Hello 35WhelenNut
Too many Guy's are fixed on using Magnum Caliber's that are more Over Kill than anything else and the Older proven caliber's are forgot about. The .45 ACP is a fine caliber for Deer Hunting if used wisely. Shot Placement is King with any caliber but when using the .45 ACP it makes the challenge that Much More. Here is my test target shown with my .45 S&W wheel Gun. I Plan on Taking it with me this week afield and can Only Hope a deer comes within range for me to dump with it. It is Now wearing a very rare set of walter Roper custon shooting stock's made back in the Mid to late 1930's time span. Regards, The General
