I'm no psychologist, but I did make a living running a steam power plant for a hospital for many years, so I think that qualifies me as an expert to comment on this thread. I suspect Matt gave the smart assed remark as a defensive measure for the deluge of attacks that he knew were coming regardless of what he had to say. I have met the man and found him to be a gentleman.
So why, other than self flaggelation subsequent to little dickey syndrome, did he provide the fodder for the slapping he got from his slap?
