WCH,most of my shots at deer and elk are 200 yds or so.
In the .300 Win with a 165 gr NBT,it was getting pretty darn close to 3300 fps and that is a flat shooting' load. Sight it in at 3" @ 100 yds and it's good to just over 300 yds.
