my curado & chronarchs work well with 2 of the magnetic pegs pulled out at 180 degrees from each other. still i find on long forceful casts i feather the spool a little. i grew up before spinning reels came out & still find good placement of casts better than spinners. also with baitcasters one can move the lures in the air if necessary.cranky72
