I have a few 5 digit Classics (Gxxxxx). Yours would be considered a 6 digit Classic.

When winchester started making the "Classic" Model 70 they restarted the serial numbers at G15000 I believe. The Classic was brought out in 1994.







Not that it matters much, but the classics were introduced in 1992. The classic fwt was actually voted the rifle of the year in 1992. A 6 digit classic would have been manufactured around 1994... Just a FYI..
