Considering the war chest that the NRA has, and how little they've done with it, the call for more donations over this one is just disgusting.
Yes, Hussein needs to be stopped, but they could have done a HELLUVA lot more to advance that by actually opposing people like Harry Reid rather than supporting him or staying on the sidelines. They could have done a HELLUVA lot more in actually pursuing law suits rather than scuttling them (NYC, alone, for example).
Congress has nothing to do with this and even if they pass something, Hussein can and will veto it. It's a regulatory and legal battle alone, and on those fronts the NRA has been woefully ineffective (except at raising money).
America needs to understand that our troops are not 'disposable'. Each represents a family; Fathers, Mothers, Sons, Daughters, Cousins, Uncles, Aunts... Our Citizens are our most valuable treasure; we waste far too many.
