Thanks for this Leyton; I always really enjoy your pics & stories as well as those from our other friends here. I did some of this earlier this week: The fresh cut hay made for great shooting practice for Wyoming out to 400! Life is good... Then vacation... I'm extremely blessed that way... Not as distant as your own New England like we did last year, but Hocking County in SE Ohio where we rented a cabin for the week. This morning we hiked Old Man's Cave State Park as a family this morning: And dinner at Millstone BBQ before a train ride out to fireworks tonight: Thanks again for the great thread my friend! I hope you all have a fantastic celebration of Independence Day! What's the story on that old cellar? Is it poured concrete or hewn out of the native rock?

Ihookem, this really is the greatest country on Earth.
Ya know Sam, that reminds me when my wife went to Taichung, Taiwan to visit our daughter that lives there. She is an English teacher. My wife gets there and total culture shock. Might as well been on Mars. It stinks of pollution, latrines and sences , spices and noise.. When we pull into the garage she says " I love America" Never knew how good she had it. My daughter is home for 4 weeks now . Got home Thursday. I think she is liking it here more than she thought. Her allergies are gone and we have Taco Bells!!! Our pastor says he's been everywhere. Insists there is no place on earth like the U.S.A..
But the fruits of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, Gentleness and self control. Against such things there is no law. Galations 5: 22&23

Having been to some truly great [bleep] in this world courtesy of the U.S Army going home really makes one appreciate good ol America!
Then STFU. The rest of your statement is superflous bullshit with no real bearing on this discussion other than to massage your own ego. Suckin' on my titties like you wanted me.

You got that right, my man. Continuing to enjoy the pics. Good stuff, y'all! A funny thing happened yesterday. Took a wrong turn trying to get to a store in NH yesterday and while driving through a small, quiet residential area, drove past a bike with a for sale sign on it. I recognized the machine, a mid-80s Interceptor, and backed up. An hour later it was in my garage. That the paint scheme is red, white and blue and I bought it on the 4th, as well as the fact that the bike wears my family name, well, God bless America.

Congrats! Thanks, Poobs. Life is too short to go through it pissed off, working non-stop or just without stopping often to take the time to enjoy oneself, I always say. Plus, no one on their deathbed was ever heard to utter, 'damn it, I wish I'd worked more...'

Hope summers gone by is suitable fare. This was taken on my spread in Bridgewater, NY some years ago. Shame a fellow can't make a living raising dandelions and woodchucks, we had bunches of both.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!
