Did some hikes this weekend in the mtns, 4 miles yesterday and 8 miles with the pack on Friday. Lightened the load a little since we topped out at around 11,500. Even the four-legger had to take a break on the way up: The views were worth it though:

Yes they were. Great pics. Yesterday: Hour weight circuit at work. Today: Hour BP hike, but my views were lacking. (Except for a couple nubile nymph joggers.) Toby looks like he has the 1000mile stare. Take it a little easier on the lad.

Lot of gals out there who want to hook Grandmother up with a man. You will probably bump into them on your next hike.

Then you have to enjoy eating as much as much as working out.
HAHA! That'd be a bit of an understatement. I'm definitely not svelte. I'm the one in back...

Hang out in the gym more than a little and you will discover you can't judge a book by the cover.
30 minute treadmill intervals, then arm/back evolution.

Wall balls - 20# Rowing - cals
50-40-30-20-10
Had to stop after 15mins (just through with the 40s) as I tweaked something in my lower back. Few days rest should get it back to working normal...

40 y.o., 6', 190, should be 180. I am training to run my 2nd full marathon in September. I had a bad case of plantar fasciitis over the last 8 weeks (hence the 190), but it finally subsided enough to allow for some short runs. Marathon is in 11 weeks, so hopefully i can get my mileage up. Ran 3 on monday and today. Will run 3 tomorrow, 4 friday and 7-9 on sunday (maybe).
