A friend of mine has a Browning Low Wall in 260 Rem. topped with a Leupold 1.5-5x20. He's sub-moa to 300 yards with it, shooting handloads I assembled.
It's really good considering its wand like nature.

Some of my junk. Please don't make fun of me Fredrica, If you ever want to 'improve' upon that pile'o'[bleep] I got a bench vise, a hack saw and a can of krylon, could probably even source some jolly roger stickers to make the uber phuqcking awesome.

Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.

How do they usually shoot GW? Never been around one. This is typical of the Highwalls...... Winchester highwall, 270 wsm. 130 gr nosler ballistic tip, 61 gr. h-4350, Wlrm primer. Shoots as good as it looks. Another Browning Hi-Wall, 454 Casull Typical accuracy is an inch or better with my handloads. However, who would think you could get this kind of accuracy out of a straight wall pistol cartridge at 100 yds. One of the few rifles I regret letting follow someone else down the road. Best, GWB

He said it didn't like to be loaded hot. My guess is he observed groups opening up with charge increases, i.e., it was going out of tune.
My take is there's so much headroom available that charges could be further increased to bring it back in, all the while keeping pressure in line.
