LOL Had a ball. Two guys I hunted with were government trappers in their early 30's that guided on the side. According to my taxidermist this guy was on his way down. Both his bottom canines had been broken off. He said he probably would not have made through to next spring. Anywho, I don't know if I'll do another hound hunt, but do have a spot and stalk hunt scheduled in just over a month. Funny, don't really matter whether I take a bear or not. Some of my earliest hunting memories are chasing dogs, old man used to get after the bear pretty good, then we'd coon hunt in the winter, as I got older started chasing cats. Lotsa good memories, don't miss the time commitment it takes to have dogs good enough to catch bobcat on dry ground regularly though. Once again, you have some badass taste in rifles....
