Laffin'....... I have too much to accomplish today to go buy another AR, but this idiot makes me want to.
I've seen the enemy....... No chit. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I don't own anything semi-automatic and have zero interest in AR's but douche bags like eric make me want to go out and buy one just to support the industry.

I find it truly interesting people that are against me owning a military style firearm didn't have a problem with me having access to them while protecting their azz. If someone wants all of the said "assault weapons" confiscated then they should be the ones going door to door demanding them turned over. In other words you put your azz on the line for what you believe!!!

I don't totally agree with the video game angle
IMO it has as much to do with lack of parenting as anything
Hell I played "violent" video games as a youngster all the way up through my early twenties
They were entertaining but ive never fekt rhe urge to go on a killing spree, I was raised by good parents who instilled values allnd morals, Were you on psychotropic medications during those times? You also say "parents", as in "two". That is another difference between you and the shooters. No, I was on the...if you do anything I disapprove of I'll put you over my knee and paddle your ass prescription plan.

Three HUGE differences between you and the shooters; no psychotropic drugs, two parents, and parents that actually took responsibility for their kid.

(BTW, my previous post WAS tongue-in-cheek. ) When the president says "less guns" he might as well be saying "more Allah"…narc on your neighbor if he plays vid games more than an hour/day….rents too many Sharks-n-nigar movies. etc.

eric308,
Our current elected gov. has done everything in it's power to negate and erode the very fundamental principles of Family and social values that help deter the very things we are seeing play out in the news every day.
It takes a village my ass,.... This village mentality is what's got us where were at now.

It takes involved parents to raise a kid.
Whether those parents sre together or divorced is, I believe of little concern...both need to be active lull involved.
People like Eric have diluted that theory and replaced it with "community" parenting...that is not to say neighbors and the parents of and child's friends. Supervising or whatever you want to inject there, it means replacing the parent with teachers and medications. It has proven and ND failurw

I posted the below comments on another thread about the Oregon shooter.
ERIC, the useful idiot of the socialist party sounds like another pawn.
Sadly, the highly liberal culture of the public school educator is churning out 50 "Erics" for every one potential person who is willing to work hard for their goals, not blame others for their own failures, and not believe inanimate objects are capable of committing evil acts, by their own fruition.
"I have to wonder what type of meds he was on, and if he was seeing a counselor. You have to be having serious mental health issues to want to do something this evil.
Though a bit far fetched, I immediately noted the upcoming presidential election, and calls for stricter gun control.
Manchurian candidate?
The original novel was from the late 50s and essentially a pawn was used as an assassin by political powers (socialists/communists).
I am very far from a conspiracy theorist, but the timing of these things has often made me contemplate what some who wish to be in power are willing to do.
After working around diplomats/career politicians for years, I would put absolutely nothing past many of them.
They consider the average american nothing but a mouth breathing useful idiot (Proletariat)that they can manipulate in any way they see fit.
At the same time, they consider the political class aristocrats, and superior in every way.
I would put NOTHING past the current breed of socialists/marxists that are currently attempting to rule us." Key sentence, but are they wrong? "They consider the average american nothing but a mouth breathing useful idiot (Proletariat)that they can manipulate in any way they see fit."
