Agreed, I seem to remember we may have discussed your dog's English bloodlines on "our friend's" other thread about sportsmanlike conduct. Seems I remember a pic of that fine animal of yours in the snow.

I hope you have some great fall hunting down your way.

Geno

PS, I have heard that folks that are interested in working versions of some other popular breeds are going back to the "old countries" for dogs like various setters and spaniels. American bred Irish Setters have a reputation, and it isn't always a nice one for a hunter.

I can't imagine how much fun I'd have if the day came that the doctor told me I had 3 months to live.

Thank you.

Good English Cocker Blood is not all that hard to find. Becoming ever more popular in the States and the Brits never did let it go away. Most of our good stock originates from there.

Their small size makes them easy to travel with and they are excellent in the home with family. They have the nick name of "pocket rockets" and it serves them well.

The votes are all in and it's now official.

PADDLER is the recipient of the Hunter's Campfire Flaming Azzhole Award for 2015.

Congratulations. The competition on this forum is fierce, but with one thread you've prevailed.

Let's give him a round of applause, folks.

I've seen longer than three months of hell on earth. Don't wait.

Make that we all have.

I was essentially told that 2 separate times about 15 years ago. But I'm still here.

I think it'll be anti climatic the next time.

You didn't indicate if either was acute or chronic. You didn't differentiate between young and old.

Funny most Docs will know the general answers, but the actual percentages? Most of them would fail your little test by giving their own observations vs yours. Yet you want the general population is spit them out.

As evidenced repeatedly, you have a communication problem. You don't have to prove to us you know your stuff. You have to communicate it to your patients in a manner they trust your decisions. Looks like in many examples you failed the test.

Not sure what you mean. I indicated "acute" for both conditions. Where did I lose you? Listen, if you're going to be obtuse you'll have to pay your copay.

I don't expect anybody to really know, just using the Socratic method of teaching. Carry on. More questions to come, lots to learn...

Being lectured by such a popular and highly esteemed "Doctor" is humbling.

I think that the Fire should take up a collection, and buy you a nice fishing trip.

More importantly, WGAF? Knowing any or all of those answers would add absolutely nothing to my life, so why would I waste my time learning it? I have to know plenty of stuff I don't really care about for my job, I'm in no hurry to learn boring chit about other peoples jobs. I assume if I ask you questions about the Canadian electrical code you'd have all the answers off the top of your head,no?
