The good doctor has endless time for the internet while his patients are clearly unsatisfied.

Whats the seven syllable Latin term for douche?

Congratulations. The competition on this forum is fierce, but with one thread you've prevailed.

Let's give him a round of applause, folks.

dassa, you have quite a good point there.

I think my patients, the fish I used to deal with when I was in the fish health "business" would have rated me pretty low if I had based diagnoses on "what percentage" of eroded fins is bacterial, parasitical, or mechanical?

I hope that's not what the "doc" was doing for those folks at the clinic.

It seems an awful lot of work.

I usually just run a hook through the eyes and toss 'em overboard.

Did I ever tell ya about the guy diagnosed and his doc gave him 6 months to live?

He couldn't pay the bill so the doc gave him another 6 months.

The doc corrected me on my error and rightfully so. No problems on this end, admit and move on.

Now, not sure of where he practices presently, however my best friend is an MD and until he moved for better opportunity we spent more than a little time together. The guy is quick, smart and compassionate along with having an excellent reputation in internal medicine. Last time I saw him was in Fla at a shoot together. Driving back his phone rang and it was the owner of the range. One of his workers was having a diabetic and hypertensive episode-forgot their meds-and being out in the country called doc for advice. He asked some questions, then we went to the pharmacy, picked up what was needed, turned around and drove back. Made sure the patient was back on track and back to the motel we went. 3 hours out of his way total. The easy way out would have been to say call EMS

Charge? Zaharo. He could buy $40,000 shotguns-and has spent much more than that on them since I've known him-and it wouldn't dent his wallet. He even paid for the prescription out of his own pocket.

His patients love him, the nurses love him. Down to earth as they come.

He's what we call the real deal. More need to follow his example.

FMR.....You are one egomaniacal prick aren't you?

So many others have pegged various things about you, I don't need to repeat their efforts.

Your comment elevating doctors oh so high above all others tells me all I need to know about you.

I happen to have had the enlightening experience of taking many classes with premed and med students during my college years which reinforced the fact that doctors are far from infallible and the simple fact they have a MD behind their name, doesn't immediately impart a god-like level of wisdom.

Reading most all of this thread has left me with ONE MAIN thought. Man I feel sorry for your dog.

Your poor dog has no choice but to be stuck with your condescending ass. And as someone once said, dogs are good judges of character so that dog knows what a bad draw in life she got. Poor girl.

Condescension from a MD that works in a walk-in clinic at the age of 63.

Boy, you really are at the top of your field aren't you?

MD behind the name...

Reminds me of the story of Harry.
He thought his name was too short so he had it legally changed to Harry Peter.

That was still too short in most people's eyes and he felt small and insignificant so he went back to school and got his medical degree.

But Harry Peter MD wasn't long enough yet, so he decided to go to school and become a dentist.

Then his name was Harry Peter MD DDS.

But that still wasn't long enough.
He kept screwing around and eventually caught VD.

Then his name was Harry Peter MD DDS VD.

Well, the American Medical association heard about all this and took away his MD.

Harry Peter DDS VD.

Then the Dental Association heard about it and took away his DDS.

Harry Peter VD.

Then the VD took away his Harry Peter so the poor bastard ended up shorter than when he started.

Let that be a lesson to ya, paddler.
You shouldn't be out pounding your pud in public.
You ain't equipped for it.
You ain't "up" to the task.

And at the end of the day you're gonna be even shorter then where you began.

Since your key proposal seems to be centered around the re-classification of firearms, I'll ask this:

How do the records checks performed on an individual purchasing an NFA classified firearm differ from the checks performed on an individual that is purchasing a non-NFA classified firearm?

Are there nekkid strippers in this thread? Please save me some time. I've seen it on here every day for like the last two weeks...month, whatever. I can't imagine a callout thread lasting this long unless Bob and betting is the topic. That or Larry and Bricktop.

Love seeing those old pics of bird hunters in the south wearing coats and ties while out chasing them old rip-rap pointers. The epitome of style.
