I just went back and looked again-love the tow strap. So is this standard equipment as part of the new Chevy warranty program?

Did anybody spot the code reader draped around my neck with the tow strap?

The code reader is for clearing codes as you drive. The strap is a backup plan to the code reader.

lol.

70* weather in November sucks by the way! It sucks my rut mood right out the window. I'm waaaaay behind on my gear prep. I have nothing washed yet. The good news is, I don't think we'll need the woolies this weekend.

No Sir, that be a .243 barrel !

Just looks thick, due to the close quarters of the single seat tree stand.

I discovered one good thing about the time change - it's light enough now when I make my coffee in the morning that I can see out in the field to watch for deer. Yesterday it was a doe and 2 fawns and this morning it was a doe and 2 bucks. One was a little fork horn and not legal, the other was a lopsided 3x3. 3 on a side makes him legal and a possible candidate for the freezer.

It's been unseasonably warm here, too, but it was in the mid-30's this morning and these bucks were definitely interested in the doe. Big necks and all.

Our season starts the 15th and I've got a chit load of stuff to do to get ready for it. Haven't even shot my rifles yet.

Yep, sux dog gonads !

Now I gotta butcher his deer on my own tonight, rather than wait for him to help on Friday night !

Yeah, they're not gonna stand out in the woods Saturday. Just wondering if we'll have to ice 'em down till we get home or not.

No, just this night shot. He's a really nice buck. Another camera had what looks like a bigger buck, but looks like an 8 pointer. I wasn't really feeling the fever until I pulled this picture up after I got back home. This year will by my 50th year deer hunting; only have on 10-pointer over all those years ... this one would make it pretty special if he shows for me.

Well he sure looks like a special buck to me! I have never shot a 10pt, never even had the opportunity to do so. I'd sure love it, even if its of a high scoring buck.

135" conservatively, likely a touch more I'd say. Gross score, not net.

I missed a big one like that 2 hours ago frown
