I just went back and looked again-love the tow strap. So is this standard equipment as part of the new Chevy warranty program?

The code reader is for clearing codes as you drive. The strap is a backup plan to the code reader.

70* weather in November sucks by the way! It sucks my rut mood right out the window. I'm waaaaay behind on my gear prep. I have nothing washed yet. The good news is, I don't think we'll need the woolies this weekend.

I discovered one good thing about the time change - it's light enough now when I make my coffee in the morning that I can see out in the field to watch for deer. Yesterday it was a doe and 2 fawns and this morning it was a doe and 2 bucks. One was a little fork horn and not legal, the other was a lopsided 3x3. 3 on a side makes him legal and a possible candidate for the freezer.

It's been unseasonably warm here, too, but it was in the mid-30's this morning and these bucks were definitely interested in the doe. Big necks and all.

Our season starts the 15th and I've got a chit load of stuff to do to get ready for it. Haven't even shot my rifles yet.

I went out to my property this afternoon to take out the heaters and put a skirt on one of my ladder stands. Pulled trail cam pics ... now I'm pumped for Saturday!!

No, just this night shot. He's a really nice buck. Another camera had what looks like a bigger buck, but looks like an 8 pointer. I wasn't really feeling the fever until I pulled this picture up after I got back home. This year will by my 50th year deer hunting; only have on 10-pointer over all those years ... this one would make it pretty special if he shows for me.

Well he sure looks like a special buck to me! I have never shot a 10pt, never even had the opportunity to do so. I'd sure love it, even if its of a high scoring buck.
