And yes, one shot with the 1907 Winchester at about 60 yards. 180 gr Hawk busted a rib going in and exited - exit visible in the upper part of the photo. The buck jumped at the shot, and ran about 50 yards before piling up.

I think he should be disqualified.....that's only a half of a dink. However I think he does get extra points for the gun.
