Pre-war S&W magnum with special-ordered hump-back hammer and King sights. Stocks are Roper copies by Keith Brown.
Notice that the ivory fill-in for the white-outline rear sight is gone.

My old 5" M&P. It's a "S" prefix. They dropped the "SV" on the Victory models after the war and went to the "S". Not too many of them with the "S". It doesn't make it any more valuable but I like having one from that run. From 1947.
