My trusty old Police Service Six that lives in the bedside table. It doesn't have as much writing on the barrel as some.

All of mine get used but they only kill paper. I have yet to attempt shooting a running cottontail in a cutover but I can assure you there would be plenty of shooting. Don't know about killing though.

I've posted this pic a time or two, but I'll put it up again just to keep the thread active.

It's a police trade in that I got at Bud's for about 250. Obviously, it's a round butt, which isn't rare, but not all that common. I already had the Ahrends grips that I bought to put on another Model 10, but they looked to be too much on a round butt pencil barrel so I took them back off.

I think they look right in place on a 4" heavy barrel, however. This old cop revolver is a shooter, too. I've been twistin' its ear pretty good with 160 grain LBT WFN's and it does a good job with them.

I'm gonna order a double handful of their 180 grain gas check examples and see what it'll do.

I've been pushin' the 160 grainers so hard that they're starting to print low.

I think the 180's will hit to point of aim at the same velocity.

I ain't blowed one up yet. I don't think I will with 2400.

It's fun to hot rod Model 10's.

Slaves get what they need. Free men get what they want.

Rehabilitation is way overrated.
