JGray,
Are you lovin' that LCR'x?
That thing has to be the best .38 ever made. What load are you shooting in it?
Travis I've only had it out a couple of times - first time out was with cast 158 SWC (store bought) with a variety of powders and the barrel leaded like a mofo (bullets probably too hard). Shot very low and couldn't raise the rear sight enough to zero it. Next time out was with my own cast 170 Keiths and it went better, but still too low. Need to try some other bullet weights before screwing with the front sight. Unique seems to be the best powder so far - I think Steelhead is shooting Unique with 158 cast in his with good results. I do like it muchly - the whole concept is just Uber and I've seen enough so far I know it'll shoot - just need to get it dialed in...

I'm typically a dishonest person but I would soooo steal those grips if I had the opportunity.
Dave There is something UBER about them, and they look like they were made to be worn on a stainless magnum, while wearing aviators.

Mackay,
Is that bear sign east of Cooke City?
Dave Yep, I rode my scooter last summer to Cody. Then took the Chief Joseph scenic byway back through Cooke City, into the park and back to central Idaho. While very smokey due to various fires, it was one of the most scenic blacktop rides I have done, and would encourage anyone to take the route at least once. Plus the twistys on Dead Indian Hill were quite fun.

That my friend is RJM, and we both had plugs. It gets flat noisy on the porch. There is a large gong about 110 ish yards from the porch that we were ringing. Plus bob was making hits on a 3'x3' target board, at 780 yards with his FA .41, with extra tall front sight. A GREAT way to goof off in the summer time.

LOVE that 63 with the Patridge front sight. Bob ...it was that way when I found it. Would love to know who the smith was who worked on that gun before I bought it... There is a white dot in the Patridge front blade and two white dots on the rear blade...have never seen a sight like that before for a J-frame... That ride on the Chief Joseph was THE best run I have ever done on a motorcycle... I did it in 2014 in between visits at Mackay's and Iceman's and wrote Mackay about it when I got home.. Almost hit a buffalo on a curve in Yellowstone on the way back to the campground...I think he did the same. Mackay...glad to see those bags I found mounted up so well on the KLR...that was the best bargain I have ever seen. Bob

S&W 317...a very early one when they came with the choice of wood or rubber grips and didn't have the FO front bead... I had always used Federal bulk as it was cheap. It would keep all the rounds in the 2.5" white circle at 10 yards. One day had a box of Winchester 40 grain PowerPoints with me and tried them...the difference is evident... SA at 10 yards... DA at 7 yards...two cylinders full... Gun is so light you forget you have it with you.... Bob
