My bet is this is the zenith of Cruz's candidacy. The real contest from here on out will be between Trump and Rubio. I don't think it gets settled until super Tuesday in March. The rest should go home now but half won't.

Iowa is a very liberal state, so I'm not surprised that Rubio was 23% here. I think he also got a boost from Cruz's stupid mailing this last weekend. Cruz still winning despite that mailing actually surprises me.

But... it's Iowa. It really means nothing except to start weeding out the lowest folks that we've known weren't going anywhere.

Guys,
I know that all of us have our favorites, and we like to get on here and knock down all but our chosen candidate (I'm Cruz all the way) but we need to remember that whoever the nominee is, we have to unite behind that candidate and vote, or Hillary will win. That happens, we might as well kiss America, as it once was, goodbye! It's always gonna be picking the lessor of two evils!

If we live long enough, we all have regrets. But the ones that nag at us the most are the ones in which we know we had a choice.

I'll get excited when a candidate says we need to hang the despicable bastards in & out of office that will have our grandchildren paying taxes on interest on debt accrued in the last 50 years while they all became multi millionaires while "serving their country "

Until we get one of those type candidates I'll just hold my nose & vote for whomever will pick the least anti constitutional justices

Not for me: it's Trump or I join the ranks of the millions of White voters who did not vote for Mitt Romney in 2012. SCREW the establishment, I Will Not give the DeeCee crowd my vote under any circumstances.

Now we will see where all those small percentages migrate to
and who has the support of the big talking non-voting segment
Get down to three or four candidates and an idea of the real percentages

And the typical arguments that not voting somehow will register a protest against the status quo.
Looks like Hillary or Sanders is the next president by default.
It would bother me more to hear that "I won't vote unless ..." but most of them won't vote anyway.

That officially makes you irrelevant. Congratulations.

Last night's big loser was the media. THAT was not supposed to happen. We should all be happy about that.

-----------

More like the complete opposite is true. Fox is and has always been in the tank for Rubio.

And we'll see how Trump can beat Rubio over the next two primaries. The issue will be if Cruz can come in the top 3 in NH and the top two in SC.

Cruz is reminding me of the Santorum 2012 race.

Lol...Romney claimed victory in Iowa for a week, stealing Santorums momentum after a Santorum won by a very small margin. Cruz won Iowa by almost as much as Obama beat McCain, and in a what, ten man race?

It's time for reality.

What a joke, Presidential voting comes down to [color:#3333FF]a coin flip because Iowa can't count.

BTW, Hillary just happened to win every coin toss...

People keep saying Cruz can't win...

And he keeps winning elections.

This one comes immediately following one of the biggest smear campaigns in history.
