Trump's made billions of dollars for thousands of people, and employed probably close to a half million (guessin here).

Trump's also been bankrupt.

Trump came back from the bankruptcy, and convinced people to invest their hard-earned dollars in his projects.

Trump has dealt with others with their hard earned $ on the line, and succeeded in making deals that were beneficial to the business he was in.

People vote in elections for politicians with *way* less scrutiny, emotion or angst than they do with their hard earned dollars.

And Trump has earned their votes ($).

He's an arrogant, egotistical ass hole, but he's *my* type of arrogant, egotistical ass hole.

My main issue is illegal immigration. I believe Trump is the most likely to accomplish a decrease in illegal immigration.

Fair enough, and no disagreement (with the concepts; the numbers are quite likely way off).

However, if Trump doesn't win the R nomination the choice will still be between the R nominee and either Hitlery or Sanders. What is your choice then?

How about you post the accomplishments of your preferred candidate?

You might make it easier for me to answer your question.

Top pediatric neurosurgeon on the planet. Led teams of the best specialists in life and death cases on a daily basis. I've already said he's the only one I've supported to any degree, and because I met/knew him before he started running and found him to be a good, decent man.

Carson won't win. No big deal.

Question stands; in Nov., it's the R nominee vs Hitlery or Sanders - what is your choice then? Me? I'm voting R whether it's Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Christie, Carson, Fiorina, or a schit eating dog (that might be Jeb...) Any of them are better than Hitlery or Sanders. What is your choice at that point?

I can see some people sayin that, but to me that's a politician's answer, and I'd prefer Trump just admit it just went bad, and it's one o' those things.

Came back from it, and here I am now.

Not that it matters to the question posed to you, but...

Strictly enforce immigration laws. Hold accountable and punish employers who hire illegals. Cut off benefits to those here illegally

Now, in November it will be the R nominee (whomever that is) vs Hitlery or Sanders; what is your choice?

Regardless! Other peoples money and junk bonds. HUGE difference!

Other than creating jobs via multiple smart BR's what has Donald trump done for this country??

Again, what have any of them done??

Sad part for me is in the end I will vote for any one of them. Does not matter!!

There's a better answer than that. Trump's businesses in NJ filed bankruptcy. Instead of a Chapter 7 liquidation and wiping out the debt, he had them file a Chapter 11 restructuring that HE personally guaranteed with his own wealth. No one was laid off, no one was fired, and the businesses paid back the debts owed under a new restructured agreement. Had they failed to do so, he would have personally had to settle the debts.

I'd still like more details, but Carson would be chosen over any of the Ds, and that's an easy choice.

Creating jobs is the greatest accomplishment a person can have in this country, on an every-day basis.

It ain't the politicians, or hollywood people that do that, it's regular people that put their lives on the line for dream.

They say only the soldiers can know what battle is like, and that's true.

But it's also true that only those people that put their entire financial lives on the line to follow their dream can appreciate the results of that endeavor.

Mathematical formula:

What are their positions on illegal immigration x How much can I trust them?

Have you done that yourself? Because you seem to have a pretty tenuous grasp on how bankruptcy works within our tax laws.

Simple math - there SCOTUS justices x 40 years = illegal immigration, 2A, ObamaCare, welfare state, etc.

Not simple to me.

I would communicate my demands for my vote to the candidate in the position to need my votes.

If that candidate doesn't capitulate to my demands, I won't vote for that person.

If that results in an adverse result, due to the actions of other voters electing an incompetent, then I'll suffer the consequences.

But I'll suffer them as a free and independent person that wouldn't buckle to popular demand.

And if that results in the gov't coming after me, for my guns, or whatever, I'll die the best I can, and honestly.

Sounds kind of dark, and certainly its improbable, but I'll strive to preserve the power of my vote, or my vote no longer has any power.
