How about weekly/monthly photo thread featuring personal savage 99's by model, caliber or something else. Have Rick make the choice and everyone post photos of their individual rifles. I like seeing 99's that have been put away in dark safes. Tom

I'm game. I'll do more looking than posting. But, I might just have to go find some more Savage's so I can post. I'd like to see other Savage's also. A couple weeks ago someone posted a pic of an early Savage bolt, I think it was a 1904, with a Swiss style crescent butt, that really perked me up. Now I want one of those, Joe.
I'm not greedy, I just want one of each.

Do we get extra points if we use a perky model?!

No points involved and I hope all remarks are kept positive so no one gets discouraged from posting pictures. I look forward to seeing many factory and non factory configurations. Tom

There once was a mod name of Rick whose Savages gave him a kick. When asked which to pick he answered right quick, "I can't decide on a pic!" There was a young man in Khartoum who went by the name of Calhoun. He had many rifles and none were mere trifles, and his pics would fill up a room. A bearded young man name of Loggah, and of guns he was quite a collectah. When asked for a pic he said "Cheryl, come quick, I need help with working the camera!" A Michigan snowman named Saddlering, would shoot and collect almost anything. He went to a show and tried to say "no", but he ended up buying most everything. All 99 guys are okay, but of LBK I really must say, when he gets in his head to go sling some lead, he smiles and shoulders his "K". If I left someone out please don't cry and pout, I'm tired, and the beer has run out!

I've posted more than my share of photos. Time for others to have a turn. Oh ok, here's everyone's favorite, but this is IT.

Great idea TomA.
One model or configuration per week. That way there is enough time for everyone to take pictures, and get in on it.
Like or want to see a certain model more? Just wait for that week. If you get that model later on, after that week has passed, go back to the thread of that model, and add it. That way we can continuously grow an online photo album of each model/configuration.
I motion to Rick that we start off with the 99T.
