Could someone explain why one would pic a VP that was soundly rejected by the voters?
Cruz would have been better off picking Susanna Martinez or Jan Brewer. If Trump is smart he'll balance out his northeast baggage with either of these two western governors.

This afternoon's not so-big announcement: Cruz has announced Fiorina as his running mate. Of course, that's only if he wins the nomination, which is not likely.
I like Carly, and maybe this could make Cruz look better against HRC. But really, not such big news, IMHO.
