Mcmillans are fine, they fit tikkas like they fit any other model. Bedding bottom metal is a simple job.

"Work up some loads." Too funny. In Tikkanese, that means "insert magazine" dig the stock...

I hear of it not doing so good with heavy loads. Something deforms inside the gun. Any truth to this?
No....
As far as recoil goes..... I hate the .270, but a $30 pre-fit Limbsaver would help quite a bit.... as does use of low rings rather than the factory supplied rings.
Drew..... that Sweede is bad ass my friend...

Heres my finished T3 in 260. Started life as a blued hunter. I think is the last iteration for this gun. I'm happy with it.
Aluminum shroud polished, B&C dark Gray/Black web, Tungsten Cerakote. I'm liking this gun. The fact it likes 125 partitions makes it all the more betta.

Again, that stock is sick. What did I you end up dropping in it? 260? 280AI?

We removed barrels from 3 of them and turned a couple of threads off then rechambered. Threaded muzzles, recrowned, resprung triggers, new bolt handles and knobs, floated barrels, cerakoted BA's, rings and stocks. Then we mounted the rings and lapped them. Also added thread protectors. Mounted scopes and broke them in. Ready for coyotes.
