Action looks heavier than the Forbes/NULA...probably wouldn't be cutting flats on Melvin Forbes receiver. At least they started with stainless.

The short action is 5lbs and the long action is 6lbs. The 22-250 has a 1/7 twist.

Weight for the rifle and I made a mistake, the long action rifle is 5.6lbs. The information I have came from a Barrett spec sheet.

Like the all stainless. Good move on their part. Any info on your spec sheet of other cal/twists/barrel lengths?

Thanks. Appreciate that. Might have to try one! Wish they were doing a 280 of some flavor.

You know with Barrett that you get quality stuff. I'll buy one in 6.5 Creedmoor.

3" mag box and threaded models will be available. I don't have the info on the barrel maker.

Whoa! That's sounding Maux bettah. A .22-250 and 6.5 Creed/.308 threaded pair would check a lot of boxes and fill a lot of freezers... Mr. Barrett could do a run of 1-7 .223 AIs as 24HCF Specials! Call it the Grand Poobah?
