i would have to go look but i think i made some of that 45colt shot shells using .410 shotgun wads. I think i used an inverted 44gas check at the mouth, or you can use a casing to cut steyrofoam to enclose. then i used a hot glue gun to seal.
i bought a bag of no12 shot on line, only place i could find it.
venturino had a article in handloader a few years ago on doing this. much better stuff than the commercial, will absolutely shred a potato.

Paul, It's my pleasure, We have so much brass at the end of hunting season, we don't know what to do with it, not many people in this area reload, and I always have more brass than I know what to do with, figured some of the fire members could use it. I have a big box with the brass that's spoken for, with bags marked with names. Blue

I still haven't heard who to send a check for supplies (food, paper goods, water, any other necessaries)
We're hoping to make it, but (again) will not be sure 'til shortly before time.

Mark - a considerate and responsible thought, but best to wait until you know you are coming and then check in to find what we may need you to bring - or you could donate something to the food cause once you get here.
