one guy had a solution of where to start....from the comment section:
The solution doesn't seem that complex to me... although implementing it would require men of great resolve (good luck on that):
- Put a moratorium on all immigration.
- Repeal the 1965 Immigration Act
- Secure the border
- Repeal anchor baby laws.
- Repatriate all refugees.
- Cancel and deny ALL visas (travel, student, work) from ALL middle eastern countries.
- Freeze all business and financial transactions in the U.S. from middle east
- Shut down all Mosques and freeze all assets associated with them.
- Make hiring an illegal a felony resulting in the loss of ones business.
- Deny all public services unless the recipient can prove legal status.
- Make providing any private service (education, for example) to an illegal a felony.
See, that wasn't that hard.

4th generation warfare is not a new concept, and has been around for years. Long story short, it would be reasonable to expect more such attacks in the somewhat near future.
There are a number of intelligence organizations, both private and .gov that analyze information, and the punchline is that for the most part, everybody is on the same page. Expect more.
For those not familiar with the concepts of global warfare as it is today, we no longer fight nation-states. Front lines are less and less common. What we are doing today is fighting ideologies/groups. This concept shift is called 4th generation warfare, and rather than write a long winded dissertation, I suggest you take a moment and look it up (4th generation warfare).
What you CAN expect is that we will see an ever increasing amount of attacks, both here and abroad, perpetrated by both "lone Wolf" type Jihadists, and small units/cells, who receive directions from Imams (The now deceased Anwar al-Awlaki is a perfect example of an Imam/terror coordinator), and other leaders.

It's the democrats who are the enemy. I like it!!! I do too, but try doing it with democrats having any say in any of it. Won't happen while democrats/lieberals have a voice.

Regarding Lind's book on fighting 4G wars, didn't we extensively use the bribery model in Iraq? Isn't that one of the reasons the war was so outrageously expensive?

I know that my cousins between them, maybe 4 folks, farm what used to be close to 30,000 acres....
Not a single illegal in the bunch... a bit of local hired hands here and there, never seen a mexican or illegal of any kind in the 51 years I've known them....
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

And local farming wise, I forgot about this, still locally very few farmers have them hired, illegal or not. Stays in the family and with other locals as employees.
Very rare to see what one would guess to be an illegal working.
I know of one farmer that uses mexicans, no clue if legal or not. Damn bastards are dumb enough to plow up the paved county roads at times not lifting plows as they turn... County put a stop to that by cutting deep ditches along both sides of the roads. LOL.

Most illegals work in States far from the border.
