He asked each one if they were on board with fluoride treatment practices.

Same but different...I used to have a friend who was OCD ( before they gave it that label...)
Amongst other things he used to lift the bread on both halves of a sandwich, apparently looking for something. I asked him " What are you looking for?"
He replied a simple " I don't know...."
So once in awhile I'd stick a dead fly in his sandwich........
Kept him looking.
