I told David, aka Paladin, that if I came I'd probably just show up unannounced, since I wouldn't know until the last minute whether I could make it. Peg has a Dr. appt Friday so that meant coming alone and I didn't want to pull a trailer all that way just for me, so I was just gonna come in my little Ford Escape and rough it.

But..... this morning when I was naming the folks who would be there, and I got to Blue's name, she blurted out;"I can reschedule my app't".

Y'all have to help me keep an eye on them two.

We will bring the bigger bumper pull [34 feet] since I've got the smaller one tore apart for repairs. I'd like to park near the campsite, but if there isn't room I guess we can park at the R V park at the lake.

I'm thinking we will overnite in Capitan Thursday and show up Friday evening. If y'all have ate up all the groceries by then, you can call me with a list of what's needed. I've got a little dab of Antelope in the freezer I may grind up for a little pot of chili after we get there.

Gene - sure glad that you are coming back - your last time was good for us. From Capitan to camp is probably 4.5 hours pulling a big trailer. There WILL be room for your trailer on site.

WHICH REMINDS - there will be one place set aside for KRP's (Kent's) trailer to be backed in at the end of the long canopy - makes it much more conveneient in that he and Cheryl do so much cooking work for us.

AND - we really need to make all trailer/tent/etc. sites on the Campground (west) side of the road to keep the east side safe/open for all of the shooting activities.

One more shooting info post - probably tomorrow - maybe this evening.

Looks like there will be lots of oldfarthelp already on site when we go to putting up big covers. That's good.

My young daughter and I are planning to attend. my dutch oven is in storage - if anyone's bringing one, we can bring ingredients for an apple cobbler.

Anything else we can bring?

Thanks Scott. I may be able to rig up some kind of double-boiler contraption, but I imagine someone will have a dutch oven out there.

Good deal. I'll also bring snacks, i.e granola bars, trail mix, sandwich stuff, eggs, tortillas, etc... & a small amount of high-quality hooch.
