Didn't see any deer big enough to shoot, decided my dad's .44 fingergroove Ruger I liked better. So I sold the 1894. Which p*ssed off the ol' lady again (hell, she never shot it). Only lever gun we have now is a Savage 99 and she warned me not to sell it.
