With recounts in three states (46 electoral votes) having to be certified by 12/13/16, is it possible that those 46 votes will NOT count when the electors meet 12/19/16?
If the 46 votes DON'T count, doesn't that lower the electoral count to 492? Trump would still have 260 to the c*nt's 232. Trump still wins, no?
Is Stein hoping the 46 votes don't count and that 30 electors will switch votes to the c*nt? Of the 50 states, how many states have laws stating the electors MUST vote for whomever carried that state?
Help me guys, is there anyway the libtards are going to steal this election? Find 40k votes in someone's trunk in PA? Retally MI and come up with 12k c*nt votes.
Ease my mind.

America needs to understand that our troops are not 'disposable'. Each represents a family; Fathers, Mothers, Sons, Daughters, Cousins, Uncles, Aunts... Our Citizens are our most valuable treasure; we waste far too many.

Very doubtful anything will change. FYI - there is a also group filing a lawsuit to contest the vote count in FL too. https://protectourelections.nationbuilder.com/florida_recountOnce again, very doubtful anything will change.

WI, MI, PA If you add it up, they'd have to reverse all 3 for Hillary to win, or at least PA & WI. If a couple states didn't finish by Dec 13 and Trump didn't have the 270, it would go to the house where Trump should win easily. I think this is a ploy to hopefully prevent the states from completing their count before 12/13 so their electoral votes won't count.
If it gets to the house, each state gets 1 vote. They'd have to choose between Trump, Clinton, and Johnson. There will be some battles there. 3 states, NH, NJ, and ME, have an equal number of R & D reps so they'd have to decide which candidate gets their 1 vote. It really won't matter, though, as 33 states have R majorities while only 14 states have D majorities. Trump by a landslide. It's possible that some R states would defect to Johnson but certainly not enough to let Trump lose.

This whole recount thing is only to try to make it seem like Trump is not the legitimate president. It's just a psychological game they are playing. That's why you see a headline every day in the news about how Hillary supposedly won the popular vote, which is also debatable but doesn't matter. They're mourning and looking for ways to make themselves feel better about their loss.

I think those behind the recount efforts desire to go to any length to keep trump from assuming office. They're definitely not just trying to queer the deal.

There is no mathematical path to the white house besides for anyone but Trump. This truly is a con to walk away with millions of other folks money. A pretty successful one too.

It is nothing more than a way for the pampered and entitled mass of sore losers to throw dirt and delegitimize Trumps presidency by hoping to have NYT types throw phrases out like "questionable victory" etc... for the next few years so that libs can continue the delusion of victimhood and evilness of conservatives. It is their rallying cry and all they have.

Ease my mind. Back to the OP. The answer to this is that I'm guessing it would end up in front of the SCOTUS. The 12th Amendment requires a majority of the EC votes. The question would be whether that's a majority of the ballots cast or a majority of the possible electoral votes from ALL states. The 12th Amend doesn't mention whether all states must vote but you can bet that there would be lawsuits either way. If neither had a majority, it would go to the house where they'd choose between the top 3 electoral vote getters: Trump, Clinton, and nobody. There is no 3 place since no one else got an electoral vote. Each state gets 1 vote so each state would have to decide who gets it. 3 states have equal numbers of R & D reps so that could be a battle royal. All other states are unbalanced. The R's have a majority in 33 states and the D's in 14 so most likely, Trump would win by at least a 2 to 1 margin. I love this system because us little states get as many votes in the house as big bad CA and NY. Our 2 red reps can nullify a sea of blue from CA. Yeah! The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; they shall name in their ballots the person voted for as President, and in distinct ballots the person voted for as Vice-President, and they shall make distinct lists of all persons voted for as President, and all persons voted for as Vice-President and of the number of votes for each, which lists they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the seat of the government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate. The President of the Senate shall, in the presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the certificates and the votes shall then be counted. The person having the greatest Number of votes for President, shall be the President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed; and if no person have such majority, then from the persons having the highest numbers not exceeding three on the list of those voted for as President, the House of Representatives shall choose immediately, by ballot, the President. But in choosing the President, the votes shall be taken by states, the representation from each state having one vote; a quorum for this purpose shall consist of a member or members from two-thirds of the states, and a majority of all the states shall be necessary to a choice. And if the House of Representatives shall not choose a President whenever the right of choice shall devolve upon them, before the fourth day of March next following, then the Vice-President shall act as President, as in the case of the death or other constitutional disability of the President.[Note 1] The person having the greatest number of votes as Vice-President, shall be the Vice-President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed, and if no person have a majority, then from the two highest numbers on the list, the Senate shall choose the Vice-President; a quorum for the purpose shall consist of two-thirds of the whole number of Senators, and a majority of the whole number shall be necessary to a choice. But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.[1]

Good point about why it would go to SCOTUS, Rock Chuck. The constitution says "if the number be a majority of the whole number of electors appointed", do states appoint electors before the vote tally for their state is finalized, or after, or does that vary from one state to another?
With a split court, even that may not be final; maybe that is what the left is thinking of, to put pressure on congress to approve O's pick for justice.
