If you are interested I might be able to get you some tree ripened honey crisp next season, I know a guy. Don't forget the peaches. Michigan peaches are some of the best I've ever had. Ernie

What have you ordered from Michigan? Is there anything to order from Michigan? Next year I will order a bushel of McIntosh apples from Michigan. The election was after the prime apple time. Try a pastie some time. I know you like spicy food though, and they're pretty bland.

My brother and I used to go thru Wisconsin on US-2 on our way bowhunting up to Crystal Falls in the UP. I think there were more bars than houses on that short stretch. My old stompin' grounds for a couple years when I was a kid. You're right on the bars.

Spent the Tgiving holidays in Mukwonago. Good eats everywhere. I'm sure I was near your home 20 while driving home... Should have knocked on the door. 😛

My Daughter just moved to Kenosha and its fun to be there
Just over the Ill boarded but a different world Hank botboy - we are more familiar with the Zion to Kenosha area than we ever wanted to be. It IS a nice area, however. Have you seen the Civil War Museum? (don't remember the exact name)

Michigan can export some Walleye for you....but you'll have to come up and catch them yourself! I'm hoping to get out on my home water next weekend for some late walleye fishing. Never fished this late before and am not sure where they might be this time of year. My usual tactic is a drifting or slow trolling crawler harnesses. Any advice? PM might be more appropriate. I've done hijacked this thread too much already.
4 out of 5 Great Lakes prefer Michigan.

Just over the Ill boarded but a different world Hank Don't worry, Yankees still chap my ass. Never had much of a problem with Northerners though. I'm just right proud that Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Iowa went RED. I'll happily send my money to those states now. Yes.

That is too easy. Don't do it, don't do it!!! Seriously, where do your kin folk in Pa live? If your trips bring you near Bedford County (I 99 and Pa Turnpike or I68) we could get you to an orchard here. One sells retail out of their cold storage untill spring. They have Macs, but not sure how long. $$$$ great compared to stores.
Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!

Is a pasty a meat pie? If so, our time in Oz delivered. Yeah-the iron ore miner's used to carry them down in the mines for their lunch.
