One of the announcers kept repeating that hoary old phrase, "We'll have to see if the little dogs can run with the big dogs." (Jim In Idaho already noted this.)

Well, as the old saying goes, "It ain't the biggest dog in the fight, it's the biggest fight in the dog."

Helluva game!

I love it. The announcer has been degrading Boise the whole game, now he comes back and says they should get a shot at Ohio State. I wonder if he'd like some ketchup to put on his words.

Even better...every man on that team was ignored by the big schools.

I imagine there will be a few big schools trying to recruit a few of them away from Boise now. Perhaps a Soph named Johnson?

Naw, Heck, what respectable school would want a football player that knits stocking caps in his spare time?

I'm wondering what kind of offers the coach will be getting in the mail this winter?

What a great game , I don't like OU and don't like Barry Switzer even less and for Boise State to beat them on National TV in a Bowl game was even better . I just wish the score would have been more but it was one of the most exciting game's I've watched lately .
What a neat University and they really have a great Sports program , looking forward to hearing more about them .

Now I'm pissed that I didn't watch the game. Gonna have to tune in to sportscenter tonight to catch the highlights.

The whole game is a highlight. That was one for the books. I wonder how many people turned off the TV after OU's last TD.

All I can add is another Man, wasn't that something to watch.

One of the best games I've seen lately.

That last play on the 2 pt totaly faked OU out of their collective jock straps.

Even on the TV I could hear the crowd go OHoooooooooh! before it exploded.

Now, given what the "little dogs" do when playing the "big dogs"; i.e. leave EVERYTHING on the field, and pull out ALL the stops, is it any wonder the BCS was designed to keep these little schools from playing for the title?

Could Boise State have beaten Florida, or OSU? Maybe, but we'll never know.

Thank the BCS for that...

As a concilation prize, also thank it for arguably the best college game ... ever.

Wow.

That was a great game! Even when it looked like Boise was done you just knew they were not out of that game. Talk about destiny.

Where's all the 30 point blowout guys? Prolly in the same place as after Rutgers /Louisville. How did Rutgers with a similar record as the big guys, end up in some goofy bowl in Texas. Congrats Broncos and Scarlet Knights!!!!
Appalachain State could beat most of these guys!!!!

... and I nearly turned the game off!!!

Awesome!!! Congratulations to Boise State!!!!!

I DID turn it off. After about 4 hours of unending ads, an hour of half-time, the SSSSSSSLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOWWWW pace of this telecast makes this the very last college bowl game I'll ever (try to) see..

Wonderful game? Absolutely; probably the best, from the description. Now, if one could just actually WATCH it in some kind of reasonable time with only a thousand or so ads instead of millions......

The cameraman found a cute chick in the OK stands that he kept showing throughout the game. She had a classic frown every time Boise scored.
