In a prior post today about what bullets you use, I mentioned a .30-06 and that I may use a partition. Have never killed a single Deer with a partition, but when I wrote it I wondered if it would get a rise from Bob. Well, now we know the answer to that.

I'm sure there will be more than once when I hunt with a Model 70 that BobinNH will be remembered. So, if there is another Deer season, a partition it will be.

I am broken hearted.

He was very kind and helpful. Just recently, he gave me motivation to resurrect a Featherweight I had collecting dust.

M70 Featherweight

That rifle will take on new meaning. He will be missed.

Wow, don't know what to say. He was a true gentleman and will be missed for sure. From the pictures posted here and his posts here it sounded like he lived a great life. 67 is too young though. Godspeed Bob.

I though that if the obituary is in the Union Leader, any 24HCF member who wanted to leave a note of condolence could easily do so using the guest book feature.

Bob, I rest assured you're cussing and discussing the 7 Mags and the .270 with Art M, Warren P, Les B, Mike W, Fred H, Roy W, Jack O'C...and Elmer penning the dissent!

Hoisting a '15 George T Stagg to you...from the modern St Hubert, Patron Saint of Hunters prayers:

By the intercession of St. Hubert, patron saint of hunters, may you always honor God the Creator, who set man in dominion over all the animals.

May the Lord God make you an honorable hunter who respects fellow hunters, the animals, and all creation;

May He keep safe you and all who share the field or the forest;

May He make all hunters proud of their kill, generous with their meat, and thankful in all circumstances.

May God bless you: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Damn. Condolences to Bobs family and friends, and Godspeed to you, BobinNH.

I always enjoyed Bob. Enjoyed tweaking him about 280's and AI's.
