Wow! I always enjoyed his posts and appreciated his insights from exchanging a few PM's. He will truly be missed and one of the good ones on the campfire for sure. A sad day!

I cannot believe it. We conversed just the other day on a gun matter, and last night my son and I were talking about a trigger job on a M70 .270 and as we were talking I was thinking about Bob....
He had always had time to answer questions for anyone who asked...

He will truly be missed. I valued his expertise and looked to his wisdom on more than a few occasions. Bob was one of the good guys here. Prayers sent to his family and friends. The fire will not be the same without him...

Condolences to his family and to those of you here fortunate enough to have known him and called him Friend.
His posts and replies always seemed well thought out, and perhaps more important, reasonable.
A sad day here on top of a death in our family this afternoon too.
